Copyrights detail the legal rights that protect the content of the Fallout Studios Data Bunker. The FSDB is protected under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 3.0 Unported License. This is commonly referred to as CCL by-nc-sa and can be explained in plain English as shown below.
The three clauses of the license:
- Attribution (by): Licensees may copy, distribute, display and perform the work and make derivative works based on it only if they give the author or licensor the credits in the manner specified by these.
If you copy anything from FSDB, then you must specify that at least some of your content was copied from FSDB. - Noncommercial or NonCommercial (nc): Licensees may copy, distribute, display, and perform the work and make derivative works based on it only for noncommercial purposes.
If you use anything from FSDB, then you may not ask a fee for or make a profit based on that content. - ShareAlike (sa): Licensees may distribute derivative works only under a license identical to the license that governs the original work.
Any content you use or edit from FSDB must be licenced so that it grants the same rights to users as FSDB does.

The license applied to the content of the FSDB does not apply to images that are copyrighted by another body, it has been deemed that the use of the images and their derivatives is fair use by the administration of the FSDB.
