Dozer
The Dozer is responsible for constructing China's structures, as well as keeping them repaired when damaged. It can also detect and clear mines and other hidden explosive devices.
Clear MinesOrders the unit to clear mines and booby traps within the assigned area. |
Bullfrog
The Bullfrog was designed as a fast scouting and transport vehicle. Its purpose is to quickly scout the region as soon as possible and take over important structures with a small strike force. The Bullfrog comes from the factory empty, but can transport three soldiers. While the transport is carrying troops, one of the passengers will man the light machine gun mounted on the vehicle to defend it.

Supply Truck
The Supply Truck is a small but relatively fast and cheap vehicle, designed to gather supplies and bring them back to the Supply Center for processing. A single truck can collect $300 worth of supplies before needing to return to unload its cargo.

Battlemaster Tank
The backbone of China's armored divisions. The Battlemaster is not a particularly powerful tank but it is cheap and quick to construct. The Battlemaster is armed with a strong cannon that does moderate damage against vehicles and buildings. To not damage each other when firing on infantry close to tanks, Battlemasters use a machine gun (which does the same amount of damage as its main gun). Groups of Battlemasters receive a Horde bonus which increases their rate of fire. The Battlemaster has a substantial upgrade potential. They can be equipped with Uranium Shells to increase their damage and nuclear engines which increase their speed, but let them explode violently when destroyed. Autoloaders let them fire two shells in a row and Nationalism improves the Horde bonus. China's War Factories can be further enhanced to mass-produce Battlemasters (with the Battlemaster Mass Production upgrade), constructing them faster and cheaper.

Dragon Tank
A tank fitted with a flamethrower instead of a cannon. The flamethrower makes the Dragon Tank infantry's worst nightmare, and infantry hiding in buildings can be instantly burned out with the Dragon Tank. Its flamethrower can also make a sweeping motion, creating a huge fire wall; the Dragon Tank reduces buildings to ashes in seconds in this mode. Though not built to fight against tanks, it can do significant damage to them. The Black Napalm upgrade makes the Dragon Tank do more damage.
Fire WallThe Dragon Tank sweeps flames in an arc, laying waste to whatever stands in front of it. Launch Napalm Fuel BlobThe Dragon Tank launches a large blob of highly flammable napalm at the target location, which can be ignited by any weapon by firing at the affected ground. |
Gattling Tank
China's main anti-aircraft and anti-infantry unit. The big gattling gun installed on it does little damage against heavily armored targets but works very well against aircraft, infantry and light vehicles. The barrel needs some time to spin up before it reaches its full potential. In tank groups, it gets a Horde bonus which increases its rate of fire. The Chain Guns upgrade replaces the four-barreled gattling gun with a six-barreled version, giving it a higher rate of fire.

Troop Crawler
The power of China's infantry is best felt when they are massed and the Troop Crawler is the ideal way to do that. It comes with eight Red Guards by default and can be upgraded with a small autocannon to defend itself. The troops inside survive even if the Troop Crawler is destroyed. Listening Outpost
The Listening Outpost fills in the role of an early warning system against stealthed enemies. When it is stationary, it deploys its radar dish which reveals stealthed units in a large radius and activates its stealth generator. It comes with two Tank Hunters out of the factory by default which can use the Outpost's fire ports to defend it against enemy threats. |
Overlord Tank
The Overlord is the representation of China's overwhelming power on the battlefield. It is the strongest and largest tank in the world. Armed with two powerful 120mm cannons, it turns vehicles and buildings into scrap within seconds. To enhance its already remarkable power, each Overlord can be upgraded individually with a bunker, a gattling cannon, a propaganda tower or a radar station. Apart from these individual upgrades, all Overlords can be equipped with Uranium Shells to increase their damage, and with nuclear reactors to increase their speed. The massive weight and size of this war machine makes it possible to crush lighter tanks by simply driving over them. All this power has two drawbacks: the Overlord has a high price accompanied by a long build time, and it is slow without the nuclear reactor.
Battle Bunker
Five infantry units can enter a Bunker installed on top of the Overlord's turret to defend it by using the fire ports. Gattling Cannon
A remote controlled Gattling Cannon is installed onto the Overlord to use against infantry and airborne threats. Propaganda Tower
Installs a Speaker Tower on the Overlord's turret. It heals the Overlord and surrounding friendly units by constantly shouting propaganda. This effect can be enhanced with the Subliminal Messaging upgrade. Radar Station
Installs a satellite dish on the Overlord's turret. The satellite uplink not only reveals nearby stealthed units but also serves as a back-up to uphold the minimap in case the Command Center is destroyed. |
Inferno Cannon
The Inferno Cannon is China's main mobile artillery. It fires napalm shells which are deadly to infantry and do good damage against buildings and vehicles. They are especially useful in groups of three, since three shells aimed at the same target create a powerful firestorm. It can further increase its destructive capabilities with the Black Napalm and Anti-Tank Shells upgrades.
Ground AttackOrders the unit to fire its payload on the targeted area. Every artillery piece in ShockWave has this ability. Napalm ShellsSwitches to the default napalm shells. Upon impact these create a small fire. When several napalm shells hit the same spot at once, they create a deadly firestorm. Anti-Tank Shells
Switches to anti-tank shells. These shells use a small rocket engine to home in on moving tanks. They do less damage than napalm shells and leave no fire but are far more effective against armored vehicles. |
Nuke Cannon
The Nuke Cannon is China's unit for long range total destruction. It fires tactical nuclear warheads over long range which are extremely destructive against every ground target. To increase its lethality against ground units, it can be upgraded with Neutron Shells. The deadly neutron radiation of these shells kills infantry, clears garrisoned buildings, empties enemy tanks and kills everything inside Tunnel Networks instantly upon detonation. This unit must be protected well in battle because of its very slow movement, fragility and the fact that it first needs to deploy itself before firing.

ECM Tank
The ECM Tank uses a powerful dampening field to distort the flightpath of enemy missiles and can channel its energy to shut down all electronics on an enemy vehicle for as long as it is targeted.
Disable VehicleThe ECM focuses its energy into a jamming beam to deactivate another vehicle, deactivating the missile deflection as long as it's active. Free Fire modeOrders the ECM Tank to fire the jamming beam at will, sacrificing the missile deflection shield. Hold Fire modeOrders the ECM Tank to hold fire and keep deflecting missiles. |
Hack Van
The Hack Van is an armored vehicle that offers protection for hackers while they hack inside. |
Propaganda Truck
The Propaganda Truck is nothing more but a truck mounted with a speaker tower. Its purpose is to heal troops, repair vehicles and increase the rate of fire of nearby units if there are no Overlords or Helixes with Propaganda Towers around. Although it has no weapons or fire ports, it can transport two infantry units which can exit the vehicle to defend it or capture nearby buildings. |
