Chinook

The Chinook is the main USA air transport unit, and is capable of transporting up to 8 infantry units, as well as one or two light vehicles. It is also the Granger's supply gatherer, capable of loading up $600 worth of supplies in one go. General Granger's Chinooks costs less to build.

As a special ability, Rangers can exit the Chinook via four ropes without the Chinook needing to land. Rangers can rappel themselves directly into civilian structures to garrison them. If the structure they rappel into is already garrisoned by enemies, the Rangers will simply take it over by eliminating the enemies inside it.

Combat Chinook

  • Cost: 1600
  • Built at: Helipad
  • Requires: -

A Chinook fitted with a high-calibre chaingun, extra armour and fireports, designed to create a safe, fast vehicle from which the USA's formidable infantry can fire on their enemies. However, with these extras, it can only carry six infantry. In addition, it has been fitted with Advanced Countermeasures by default, which grants it extra protection from missiles and bullets. It is equipped with a pair of speakers, which can play Wagner's Ride of the Valkyries to parade your victory or annoy your enemies with. The Rocket Pods upgrade add two rocket launchers to the Chinook which each fire one powerful but not very accurate rocket at ground targets.

Medivac Chinook

  • Cost: 750
  • Built at: Helipad
  • Requires: -

A Chinook for troop support purposes. It can heal and repair friendly nearby units, as well as drop crates which heal friendly infantry and repairs vehicles around it. It has slots for six infantry, but due to the medical equipment inside, there is no room to fit vehicles.

Aid Drop

Orders the Medivac paradrop a crates filled with medical and mechanical supplies.

Clean Toxins

Orders the Medivac to clean up radiation and toxins in the selected area.

Acolyte Drone

  • Cost: 650
  • Built at: Helipad
  • Requires: -

Granger modified the sentry drone to be able to fly, which resulted in this vehicle. It has a large caliber autocannon which makes short work of infantry and light vehicles, but however it has weak armor. Due to the design and weight of the Acolyte, it must fly around in circles. The Acolyte, in bunches, is also useful for responding to surprise GLA infantry ambushes. Because of its low production cost these drones can easily be built in large quantities to effectively support your armada of attack helicopters. Its thin armor can be enhanced with the Drone Armor upgrade.

Skycrane

  • Cost: 1500
  • Built at: Helipad
  • Requires: -

The Skycrane can be easily described as a flying dozer. It can construct and repair all buildings the normal dozer can, but being airborne, it cannot clear mines and booby traps. The Skycrane has an innate advantage over Dozers due to being able to bypass terrain entirely, but is not heavily armored and can be shot down by enemy Anti-Air fire than a normal Dozer which can hide behind terrain and structures for cover. With Skycranes, Granger can establish forward bases quickly.

King Raptor

  • Cost: 1200
  • Built at: Airfield
  • Requires: -

The King Raptor is a substantially more powerful version of the F-22 Raptor utilized by the other USA factions, and also comes with the Countermeasures upgrade by default. Being highly suited to dogfights, King Raptors can quickly gain control of the skies, as well as being able to deliver powerful air support, being able to destroy any enemy vehicle in pairs. The Laser Guided Missiles upgrade increases the accuracy of the King Raptor's missiles, therefore increasing the damage done by each missile, and the Aircraft Ammo upgrade gives the King Raptor an additional two more missiles, allowing it to destroy targets even more easily.

King Stealth Fighter

  • Cost: 1600
  • Built at: Airfield
  • Requires: -

This stealth fighter, also called the F-117 Nighthawk, fires air-to-ground missiles which are extremely effective against defenses and do good damage against other ground targets as well. Because it is stealthed when not firing, it can be difficult to shoot down before it disappears again, making its attacks hard to anticipate and giving it the ability to attack 'out of nowhere'.

General Granger uses a much more powerful Stealth Fighter, which comes with the Countermeasures upgrade by default, and can be upgraded with the Laser Missiles upgrade, which increases the damage its missiles dish out, as well as the Aircraft Ammo upgrade, giving the King Stealth Fighter an additional two missiles for SEAD, and the Bunker Buster upgrade, allowing it to clear garrisoned structured and forcefully evacuate all units from a Tunnel Network.

Hypersonic Aurora Bomber

The bomber that resulted from the Aurora Project is the most advanced aircraft in existence. General Granger continued the Aurora project, taking it to the next level with an even further advanced engine design. During its attack run, it travels at hypersonic speed, which makes it practically invulnerable against anything but stray shots in the flightpath of the Hypersonic Aurora. It then drops a single bomb that can destroy any light vehicles in the explosion's radius and seriously damage any structures. The downside that flying at hypersonic speeds prevents the bomb from being able to track fast moving units like Rocket Buggies, nor tanks such as Battlemasters. They are suited to attack enemy artillery units and structures which are too slow to react and cannot move respectively. The radius of the explosion can destroy vehicles clustered together, provided that they are stationary, or destroy enemy vehicles behind the targeted vehicle.

After the bombing run, the Hypersonic Aurora drops to subsonic speed to conserve the remaining fuel to return to the Airfield they are based at. During the return flight, the Hypersonic Aurora is vulnerable to Anti-Air fire. Granger has also outfitted his Hypersonic Auroras with Countermeasures, to better increase the lightly-armored Hypersonic Aurora's survivability in the field.

B1 Lancer

The B1 Lancer is an advanced tactical bomber with a variable-geometry wing design. The B1 Lancer is armed with a single cluster bomb, for destroying tank columns or stationary clusters of enemy units. The B1 has thin armor, preventing it from flying into areas where the enemy has even established Air Parity. Caution should be used if deploying the B1 if there are Anti-Air units in enemy formations. The B1 already has Countermeasures built into it, increasing the survivability against missiles and bullets.

King Comanche

A staple combat helicopter in the USA's arsenal, the RAH-66 Comanche is fitted with multiple weapon systems capable of quickly destroying ground targets. Its nose-mounted chaingun is deadly to enemy infantry, and its Hellfire missiles deal good damage to vehicles and buildings. For even more firepower, it can gain rocket pods via the Rocket Pods upgrade. The King Comanche, an upgraded version of the standard Comanche, comes with the Countermeasures upgrade, and has two additional upgrades it can gain: the Aircraft Ammo upgrade, which gives it two extra Hellfire missiles, and the Stealth Comanche upgrade, which allows it to become stealthed when not firing, which make Comanche attacks very difficult to anticipate, perfect for ambushing enemy tank formations with little or no Anti-Air support.

Due to having paper-thin armor, caution should be advised when deployed in areas with Anti-Air. Destroying enemy Anti-Air units when attacking their formation should be priority one.

Fire Rockets

Orders the Comanche to empty its rocket pods at the target location. The rockets don't track targets, but scatter randomly across a wide area, damaging everything that happens to be within the scatter radius.
