General George D. Ironside was added to ShockWave as a completely new faction in version 0.95. He specialises in armoured vehicles, claiming to have 'a vehicle for every job'. His units are therefore very specialised, and while they are indeed very good at their job, they are rather lacking in other areas. Ironside therefore needs to balance his forces with many different unit types, to avoid facing anything he isn't prepared for. However if he picks the right weapons for the job at hand, there is little one can do to stop his superior firepower.
