All manned vehicles
All of Juhziz' vehicles can be strapped with explosives. These can be used as a last resort to blow the unit up, taking few surrounding troops with it.
Suicide
Detonates explosives strapped onto the unit. |
Mantis
General Juhziz utilizes outfashioned T-55 Mantis tanks as his main battle tanks. They sport better armor and weaponry than the Scorpion but cost a little more and are slower. The Mantis can be upgraded with lots of explosives. First there is the Scorpion Rocket upgrade, which provides an extra punch and HE Shells increases the damage its shells do. The Junk Repair upgrade slowly repairs this unit over time.
Salvage Upgrades
Launch Scorpion Rockets
The Mantis fires its rocket at a target location. |
Technical
The Technical is simply a pickup truck mounted with a machine gun, designed to transport infantry over long distances and engage enemy light infantry. Though very vulnerable, it is one of the fastest units in the game and is quite cheap. When fitted with salvaged equipment, its standard (weak) machine gun is replaced with substantially more powerful weapons.

ZSU-57
These old-fashioned flak tanks serve as Juhziz' mobile anti-air and anti-infantry platform. They have two high-calibre autocannons with high-explosive flak shells, which do heavy damage against aerial targets, infantry and light vehicles. In numbers they are even dangerous to enemy tanks. Their strength can be further increased with the HE Shells upgrade.

Toxin Tractor
An irrigation vehicle fitted with barrels of deadly toxins and a sprayer to dish them out to enemy troops, the Toxin Tractor is an example of GLA no-holds-barred warfare. The toxins from this vehicle kill infantry almost instantly (even when they are hiding in buildings) and can deal good damage to vehicles over time, as well. Though cheap, it is rather slow and not particularly well armored. It can use its irrigation hoses to contaminate the area around it, making the ground unsafe to move over (the tractor itself isn't affected). It will repair itself automatically with Junk Repair. General Juhziz has never liked toxins and is still looking for an alternative to this dirty unit.
Salvage Upgrades
ContaminateOrders the Toxin Tractor to contaminate the area by spraying toxins all around itself. |
Marauder Tank
The Marauder tank is much heavier than the Scorpion, but its turret is in a fixed position, so the whole vehicle must turn in order to engage a target. Though not especially powerful by default, it can mount parts salvaged from destroyed enemy vehicles increasing its armor and/or firepower in the process. When multiple enemy vehicles have been salvaged, the power of the Marauder is increased dramatically, making it able to engage all but the most powerful units. Juhziz' Marauder Tanks have been modified to contain more explosive fun. They come with a Calliope rocket battery out of the factory which shoots unguided rockets continuously at its targets. Though the rockets do little damage a piece, they are fired in great numbers. The damage these rockets do can be increased with the AP Rockets upgrade. The Marauder can also receive a damage bonus with HE Shells and repair itself with the Junk Repair upgrade.
Salvage Upgrades
Ground AttackOrders the Marauder to fire a full volley of its rocket battery at the designated target area. |
BRDM-1
A Cold war era vehicle built specifically to deal with enemy vehicles. The BRDM-1 is armed with six guided HE missiles in a rotatable turret. Its missiles have very long range and home in even on moving infantry, making escaping close to impossible. The downside is that the missiles travel at low speed, have a rather large dead zone and the launcher has a low rate of fire. The BRDM-1 is amphibious, making it perfect for sneak attacks. The Junk Repair upgrade slowly repairs this unit over time.

Combat Cycle
The Combat Cycle provides GLA infantry a quick way of getting around the battlefield. Depending on the unit mounting it, the combat cycle receives different kinds of weapons:
General Juhziz receives Combat Cycles with a Terrorist by default. If the driver gets off the Combat Cycle, it will remain empty until destroyed or manned again by GLA infantry.

Radar Van
The Radar Van provides radar capabilities, and can detect stealthed enemy units around itself. The Radar Scan upgrade allows each Radar Van to periodically reveal a small area anywhere on the map for a short while.
Radar Scan
Orders the Radar Van to use its scanning ability to reveal a target area (also revealing hidden enemies). |
Bomb Truck
Filled with TNT and other explosives, the Bomb Truck's purpose is to drive into an enemy structure or group of units and detonate itself, taking enemies along with it. Though able to deal substantial amounts of damage, it is still a vulnerable unit because it isn't particularly well armored. It is able to disguise itself however, posing as an enemy vehicle so it can get closer to its enemy before being detected. Juhziz, being focused on demolitions, orders his Bomb Trucks with HE Bombs by default and can upgrade them with Nuclear Bombs for more explosive fun.
Nuclear Bomb
Turns this truck into a nuclear weapon. DetonateImmediately detonates the Bomb Truck. DisguiseMakes the Bomb Truck look like the targeted vehicle. This includes faction color. |
Battle Bus
A big tour bus fitted with extra armor plating and a nasty-looking bumper. Juhziz' Battle Bus can transport up to six infantry at once, who can fire out of the vehicle's windows. Additionally this version of the Battle Bus can deploy small demotraps for free anywhere on the battlefield. It can deploy five demotraps in a row before having to reload for a while. These Demotraps have a permanent proximity fuse and a remote detonator. When destroyed, all demotraps still on the bus get catapulted in every direction and detonate upon impact while the infantry carried by the bus exit with minor injuries. It can be fitted with extra armor plating salvaged from destroyed enemy vehicles. The Junk Repair upgrade slowly repairs this unit over time.
Salvage Upgrades
Deploy DemotrapOrders the Battle Bus to unload one Demotrap at it's current location. |
Rocket Buggy
One of the most iconic vehicles the GLA posesses, the Rocket Buggy is the ideal vehicle for hit-and-run attacks. It outranges defenses and though extremely fragile it is equally fast and can easily flee if enemy forces are approaching. Rocket Buggies come with three small rocket batteries which fire a barrage of six homing rockets, but can be upgraded with newer batteries that can fire up to eight rockets (with the Buggy Ammo upgrade). The AP Rockets upgrade increases its damage and the Junk Repair upgrade gives the vehicle auto-healing. It can salvage even more rocket batteries from enemy vehicle wrecks. Juhziz' Rocket Buggies are equipped with HE Rockets, giving them a damage bonus by default.
Salvage Upgrades
TauntThe Rocket Buggy uses its horn to taunt the enemy. This has no in-game effect and is for humorous purposes only. Ground AttackOrders the unit to fire its payload on the targeted area. Every artillery piece in ShockWave has this ability. |
Topol-M Launcher
General Juhziz was able to acquire some high-tech Soviet missile technology in form of the fearsome Topol-M mobile ICBM launcher. This slow moving monster carries one of the most destructive projectiles in the game within its launch tube, and it is the longest-range artillery piece of any GLA faction. The missile is launched straight up, and after a few seconds it will come crashing down on the target, causing severe damage to just about anything. Its destructive power can be enhanced with salvage upgrades. The Junk Repair upgrade gradually repairs damage it has sustained.
